in a powder blue Bahamas. A powder green Bahamas beach. The moon is a
phosphorescent sea animal. Powdery green milky midnight. Like white wash,
stained with blue-green algae. White shorts and t-shirt.

Lots of beaches and beach roads. Life on the edge of continents. Skirting
continents. Skirting the skirling continents, in my tartan with my
bagpipes.

Baboon Bahamas. Banana Bahamas on bags of bananas. Banana-boat Bahamas
chugging through the Gulf Stream. Banana boat islands with shiny Negroes
under the intense blue sun. Blue like a blowtorch. In Miami, the puddles
bubble. The asphalt runs like molasses, down into the sewers, leaving
only the bones of streets.
